Our main work so far is in skills. Our Digital Advantage programme, in partnership with the Lancashire LEP and The White Room, is developing talent in our schools by helping them understand the opportunities in the sector, provide training and masterclasses to accelerate their skills, knowledge and, most importantly, show what a great and exciting sector it is to work in. For more details click here.
We’re also developing a Digital Skills Partnership to bring together schools, colleges, universities, employers and local government together to share the challenges of developing the talent to help young people thrive and provide the skills and talent for new and existing businesses. Smaller projects include working with City & Guilds to help develop their digital apprentice programmes; curriculum support for colleges and universities; and developing Code Clubs in primary schools. If you’re interested in supporting any of these projects or one of your own you think we could help or support please contact us.
